Michael teamed up with Chris who crossed paths in the real estate world. They formed a partnership, Stratus Land, and are crushing it!
Chris bought an Airstream travel trailer and committed to living in it full time while travelling the country to check out land and work remotely.
Utilizing online tools and technology is just as productive as sitting next to each other in an office.
To work remotely you will need to:
- Spend time to get all systems in place so you can automate as much as possible.
- Map out a deal flow diagram. Identify a process for each individual step.
- Get enough support. Focus more on system than process.
Chris and Michael are also working on a Due Diligence coaching course. It will be an incredible resource to help others approach research and due diligence—taking their business to the next level.

Michael: Different counties will give you a discount on your property taxes if you pay them in advance. Pay attention and reach out to each individual counties and treasurer and see if they offer any sort of discounts on property taxes.
Chris: Get additional information on the property you are about to buy by calling the local sheriff’s department and ask them about the details of the property. They will generally know a lot about the properties in that area.
