In today’s episode of The Art of Passive Income, Mark and Scott talk to Jasmine Star—JasmineStar.com.

Jasmine, who teaches entrepreneurs how to build their brand and market it on social media, left law school over a decade ago to care for her ailing mother. Realizing how fragile life is and that we are not guaranteed time here, she re-evaluated her own life and decided to pursue photography which ultimately led to building the business of her dreams. She now educates entrepreneurs on how to do the same.

In a competitive market like photography, she explains she made herself stand out by:

  • Working harder
  • Creating experiences
  • Learning and leveraging how people are communicating and are wanting to be served

She also does not view competitors as opposition, but as allies who all bring very different things to the table and are making the consumer aware.

The same can be said for the land business when it comes to scarcity mindset. More investors in an area brings more interest to that area.

Listen in to hear Jasmine’s story and her inspiring answer to Mark’s question: If you’re on your death bed and you’re surrounded by friends and family what would be your last words of advice that you would give before you leave?
